Palatin Media was founded at the beginning of 2011 by distribution veteran Bernd Schlötterer.
PM´s activities include worldwide distribution with a strong footprint in German speaking Europe, production of fiction and non-fiction content as well as high-class 3D conversion.
In addition to that, Palatin Media has an active exchange with other shareholdings of the founder and/or his family.
PM‘s team – a mix of in-house executives and representatives/sales executives – is based in Munich, Berlin, London and Los Angeles.
Central services like material, marketing, accounting and legal are organized by the Munich headquarters.
Bernd Schlötterer has 18 years of experience and a significant track record as an investor in and distributor of filmed entertainment product, particularly as a former managing director (since 1997) and (still) shareholder of Tele München Gruppe (TMG), one of Europe‘s largest independent film investment and distribution companies.
He ran the day-to-day core business of TMG, the sourcing and distribution of product via all steps of the exploitation chain, and serverd on the board of various subsidaries, which gives him a substantially unique 360° perspective of the audiovisual sector. In December 2011 Bernd was elected as a member of the International Academy of Television.
Additionally, Bernd has successfully invested in, served as board member or consultant to a variety of new media and high-tech companies like Clipps AG or Polytraxx.
